I have dedicated my entire career to corporate aviation, starting with a role in the helicopter sector at a major Sikorsky service centre. This role familiarised me with the high standards and expectations of the private and corporate sector. I later managed the avionics department and directly interacted with customers on maintenance, modifications, and installations. Since 2002, I have worked closely with several private jet owners and operators, consistently exceeding their requirements. I was also jointly responsible for all aspects of a private operation, gaining valuable insight. This led to my desire to offer unique services through AMAS, leveraging my extensive experience in corporate aviation.

Alex

I have only ever worked in corporate aviation, starting as a trainee and rising to become supervisor. I then became hangar supervisor of a distinguished maintenance organisation and FBO. For 20 years, I served as the director of maintenance for an individual, where I was responsible for all their aviation interests across different aircraft types. My responsibilities included supervising the purchasing and re-sale of aircraft, completing and maintaining aircraft, performing flight engineer duties, and more. With extensive experience with Gulfstream aircraft, I served on their Customer Advisory Board and ATCAT for several years, gaining valuable connections within Gulfstream which has been invaluable to AMAS.
AMAS Founders

History

The founders of AMAS, Mr. M. Ives and Mr. A. Goodwins, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table in the corporate aviation industry. With over 50 years of combined experience, their careers began with government-approved apprenticeships, followed by obtaining CAA BCAR and EASA licenses.

Their focus has always been on the needs and expectations of private and corporate aircraft owners and operators, having worked with only prestigious organizations and high-expectation customers. This has given them a deep understanding of the industry and what it takes to meet and exceed the demands of their clients.

Their expertise in aircraft appearance, operation, and maintenance is unparalleled, as they have dedicated their careers to understanding and delivering on the needs of their clients. From the upkeep of the aircraft’s appearance to ensuring its smooth operation, they have a holistic approach to their work and are committed to delivering the best possible outcomes.
