A DOM from AMAS will be updating the owner and/or chief pilot on all maintenance matters, ensuring your asset is ready for flight 24/7. Keeping ahead of routine maintenance so there are no surprises concerning downtime and cost. Constantly reviewing maintenance programs to ensure maximum usage of the aircraft. Reviewing maintenance invoices to ensure they are correct and warranty items are captured. You would normally employ one person to be a DOM, but with AMAS you have a single point of contact backed by our team eliminating holiday or sickness issues. The DOM is available 24/7, approved and knowledgeable on your aircraft. Your dedicated engineer is fully supported by our airframe and avionics engineers. Our long history with Gulfstream has provided us with strong contacts within their leadership team to assist with anything from small scheduling changes to the inevitable AOG’s.

AMAS will maintain your aircraft always to the highest standards. From a simple loose drawer catch to an AOG flight control situation AMAS are able to return your aircraft to service, professionally, safely and in a timely manner.

All out of phase, routine line maintenance, defects and AOG’s are catered for, everything from small requirements such as software updates and microbiological fuel testing AMAS are on hand to carry these out. We can also take care of flight-ready, short-term and long-term storage inspections for extended downtime periods.

AMAS will travel to your location to perform any tasks due, meaning no positioning flights and associated extra costs.

Tech Supervision

For those unfamiliar with maintenance management, such as new plane owners, chief pilots, or personal assistants, it can be challenging. Automated invoicing systems often cause maintenance costs to escalate due to inherent flaws that benefit the maintenance organisation.

Our DOM will supervise maintenance to ensure correct and efficient techniques are used and no time is wasted. Building a relationship with the MRO crew lead is crucial for successful and cost-effective maintenance.

During maintenance, decisions will need to be made. With AMAS Tech Supervision, we’ll be there to make the right choices or offer advice, sign additional work requests, and verify estimated hours and part costs. The client will receive regular updates, including information about any issues and downtime drivers.

After the aircraft is released by the MRO, we believe a post-maintenance pre-flight inspection carried out by an independent party is essential, a task taken on by the AMAS DOM. Finally, we’ll also conduct a final invoice audit to ensure accuracy.

Maintenance Packages

AMAS can offer a simple solution for owners and operators maintenance costs, with a set monthly fee tailored to cover individual needs. From simple post flight checks to all-inclusive packages including defect rectification and line maintenance, we guarantee a fixed monthly fee that simplifies the ownership experience.

Our premium package gives you the full benefits of having your own DOM, plus everything detailed above. The monthly fixed fee will cover everything that is needed, the only exception is parts.

You won’t be flying your aircraft to a facility for line maintenance, your DOM will arrange a visit to your aircraft at home base to carry out these inspections making sure the availability of the aircraft is always maximised. He or she will be onsite at our UK bases supplying arrival and departure assistance, defect rectification and we will even help with baggage if required!

We can assist you or your customer in choosing the right aircraft to suit personal and operational requirements. Guidance is offered through the stressful and time-consuming stages of purchase, sale, refurbishment or return from lease. We can also carry out log book reviews and tech supervise your aircraft through its pre-purchase inspection if you are the buyer or the seller.

AMAS will manage the task of interior selections, cabin layouts and the many inflight entertainment options available for the discerning private aircraft owner.
